Darrell Fouts
Darrell Fouts, owner and president of Colorado
Business Consultants, joined IBG Business Services in 1999 with over 23
years of experience in mergers and acquisitions of middle market
companies. Having owned and operated thirteen businesses, Fouts fully
understands the evaluation and marketing process while appreciating a
business owner's concerns during the transition process.
The vast experience Fouts has gained in industries such as manufacturing,
distribution and services makes him a valuable addition to the IBG team
where he consults Account Managers and Executive Vice Presidents in their
valuations and marketing strategies.
Fouts' expertise in succession planning, business valuation and estate
planning has made him a nationally recognized lecturer, educator,
consultant and author in the merger and acquisition industry. He has had
hundreds of speaking engagements and is a member of the Colorado and
National Speakers Associations.

Fouts is the founder and past chairman of the M&A Source and a past
President of the International Business Brokers Association. He studied at
the Universities of Nebraska and Colorado where he received his Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration and completed graduate work in
management and marketing. He enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife
including travel and motorcycle trips.
