Judy Brown
As a member of the IBG team, Judy works closely with Account Managers to implement and manage all client-approved marketing plans. The Investor Relations Department is responsible for the initial financial qualification of acquirers and maintaining strict confidentiality throughout the marketing process. Judy is responsible for targeted industry research, private equity group liaison and the management of more than 7,000 active records. In addition, she assists Account Managers in executing the Marketing Plans for IBG clients through print advertising, direct mail, industry publications and the Internet.
Buyers' acquisition criteria consistently change; the Investor Relations Department keeps that data up-to-date in order to accurately match seller clients with potentially qualified buyers. These buyers consist of high net worth individuals, Industry Consolidators, Venture Capital Groups and Private Equity Groups.
Judy served as the Enrollment Management Officer for several graduate level educational institutes in Santa Barbara, California. Her interpersonal skills and proficient communication led her to a successful advising and coaching career, including the ownership of a professional development company.
"At IBG, teamwork is not just another word. There is heart and integrity behind the scenes where relationship-building lives. The success of IBG lies in our values and dedication to assist our clients."
While in Santa Barbara, Judy spent a great amount of time sailing throughout the Channel Islands and volunteering at the local ASPCA. With a friend, she also co-organized the Light the Night Walk -- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walk to build awareness of blood cancers and raise funds for cures.
Now in Denver, Judy lives with her 15-year-old son, 2 cats and one dog. She now spends her free time attending her son’s YMCA and JAM basketball league games and practices.
