Todd Erickson Todd Erickson's nine years of experience as an owner, operator, and manager of businesses affords him an insider's perspective when it comes to buying or selling a business. Prior to joining IBG Business Services, Inc., Erickson entered the mergers and acquisition field during his tenure as the western regional manager for corporate development for an office products industry consolidator. His experience also includes owning and operating two businesses: a health club and a sport adventure business. While operating and selling his businesses, Erickson gained the experience to understand the complexities of selling a successful enterprise as well as the dynamics of business ownership. Erickson's background also extends to information technology, corporate training and corporate compliance. He was the general manager for a company that developed web-delivered, interactive training for telecommunications companies and authored several articles on corporate compliance for legal publications. Erickson feels that his entrepreneurial background, along with the IBG team concept, brings the most value to a client: "Anytime that you have a group of talented and experienced individuals working together, the results are superior to one person working alone in a vacuum. Erickson attended the University of Northern Colorado, where he received his undergraduate degree in business. He went on to obtain an MBA and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, where he was the business editor for the Preventive Law Journal. His studies concentrated on commercial transactions, intellectual property, and corporate compliance. Erickson is a regular volunteer for Junior Achievement and in his free time, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including triathlons, backcountry skiing, backpacking, and mountain biking.
